Scrambled eggs

This recipe takes 10-15 minutes and serves 4.

You will need:

  • 6 eggs
  • heavy cream
  • butter

Step 1

For 4 people, crack 6 eggs into a mixing bowl. Add a little bit of heavy cream. Don't go crazy with it!

Step 2

Break the yolks with the whisk. Whisk the eggs. Make sure you hold the whisk right.

Step 3

After you whisk the eggs for about 1 minute, you should to begin to see bubbles in your eggs. These are good. The more bubbles, the airier the eggs.

Step 4

Set aside your delicious eggs and put a small pan on the stove. Make sure to keep the handle towards your counter. If the handle is facing inside, it can get hot and you might burn yourself. Slice about 1/2 an inch of butter in the pan.  Push it around with your butter knife to butter the entire pan.

Step 5

When all the butter is in liquid form, dump your eggs into the pan slowly. (Optional: get a small rubber spatula and scrape out whatever is left in the bowl)

Step 6

Use a rubber spatula (which is best) or wooden spoon to cook this. Let the eggs sit in the pan for about 1 or 2 minutes (the stove should be medium low) to let a small little layer of egg form. Use your spatula (or spoon 😒) to push the layer into the middle. Make the layer into a pile of egg into the center. Repeat this step until there is only a little bit of liquid left.

Step 7

When there is only a little bit of liquid left, you'll want to turn off your stove. Using your wooden spoon, start breaking up the egg into chunks. After 1 minute, there shouldn't be any liquid left. Dump your gorgeous eggs into a bowl and serve.

Step 8

This the most important step. If you don't follow this you've ruined the eggs. ENJOY 😃👍
